Atlanta Youth Tennis and Education Foundation

The Atlanta Youth Tennis & Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting youth tennis and education programs, educating and providing the public information as to the lifelong health benefits of tennis, and promoting amateur tennis and good sportsmanship in schools, playgrounds, public parks and after school programs. AYTEF instructs and encourages youth aged 5 to 18 years old and of all abilities, including those with disabilities.

AYTEF and The Chattahoochee Foundation, both Sport for Good Atlanta grantees, joined forces with the Atlanta Police Department and the Atlanta Police Athletic League to successfully launch the Volley Against Violence program. Children, police officers and other community volunteers meet together at Washington Park Tennis Center in the Westside of Atlanta, Friday nights from 6-8 p.m. for a fun night of pizza and tennis.
